Best Way continues to skip my recycling pickup. This week, after they skipped it, all of the recycling was blown all over the yard, street, and sidewalk. I called to inform them they missed my pickup and sure to the blight the wind was causing, they would find a lawn paper bag next to the bin with those items. They tripping back with a picture stating garbage (non accepted items) in the bin. The items in question are recyclable and I even took pictures of the fact and sent them back to them. It's Monday and they still have yet to pick up my recycling. Their new excuse, that the lid want closed. With the wind blowing the way it's been, that's impossible to accomplish.

The somewhat recently installed power pole has branches running against the pole in multiple spots, including near high voltage. Beautiful tree, please try to have it all cut up.

The traffic light at Portage and Bacon will randomly not recognize that vehicles are present and waiting on Bacon Ave. This causes the light to not change and ultimately places the drivers in a situation in which they are understandably, forced to break the law in some fashion (turn on red, bypass light through parking lot, illegal u-turn, etc.). In that instance they should not be violated for it. Not only is it a safety hazard, but it causes 7+ car back-ups on Bacon.

The storm drains closest to the school on Portage and on Bacon are continually being clogged and causing water backups. Some of the drains even seem to have weeds growing in them. It would seem as though these need to be cleaned more often.

Repaved and marked road but they did not mark the directional only arrows on road. This is especially important for turning lanes at the school.

Also on Portage road, after Bacon Ave, they changed the road to a one lane road. The markings or signs do not allow drivers to know soon enough and causes issues constantly. I believe additional warnings need to be farther back and clearly visible.

My neighbors and myself are having a lot of water quality issues - namely rusty, brown, water. I have installed a whole house filter but that doesn't even help that much. A filter that is supposed to last three months has to be replaced in 3 weeks. And I pay for the water to be like that? We have resorted to purchasing water bottles most of the time in order to drink. If you want to take a bath, it looks like you are taking it in tea.

Our street was repaved and sidewalks were added a few years back. I have two issues I would like to have addressed:
    1. A portion of the new sidewalk has already deteriorated (cracked and settled). For the age of the sidewalk this should not have happened.
    2. When they built the sidewalk and paved the road the last two homes have the sidewalk directly butting up to the road. In the winter the plow trucks come through and plow all of that onto the sidewalk. The rest of the street has a median between the two as it should. It i near impossible some years to keep the sidewalk clean due to a plowing turning into a solid mass of ice. My proximity to the elementary school doesn't leave me with many moral options besides clearing the sidewalk. This is very difficult due to the fact that I have a bad back and can not do that type of work.
