This concerns the exit from eastbound Hwy 72 to southbound Sparkman There used to be a short ramp that has been coned off Therefore those turning to the right from the ramp into Sparkman have a difficult and more dangerous maneuver because the little ramp has been closed

For one, this now blind turn To make a normal right turn, one usually just needs to look ~90 degrees to the left to ensure no traffic is coming before making the turn But with the acceleration lane now closed (and a right turning vehicle already heading to the right) a right turning driver now has to look very hard to his/her left 120-140 degrees (which is rather difficult, unless one has a neck like an owl). And in doing this, I am also looking at the back of my driver side door and the frame beside it This makes looking for a safe opportunity to turn difficult and more dangerous than it should be; as the door and frame further block my direct view

A remedy would be to restore the little ramp / acceleration lane I can much easily see oncoming traffic with my mirrors in this orientation Also extending the acceleration ramp a little would help too My Ford truck with an EchoBoost feature would have little trouble rapidly accelerating if I need to Thanks for reading this , ? bl

Possible signal malfunction Beforehand the signal was defaulted to let northbound traffic on Explorer Blvd NW turn left on to Farrow Rd without restrictions

Now it is jammed it ;lets non-existent southbound traffic on Explore, while stopping legitimate northbound traffic on Explorer who want to turn left on to Farrow It's been like this the past few weeks r ,

Traffic signal at Hwy 72 (University Drive) and Waddell Dr NW This signal "always" turns green for left turning westbound traffic going into the Westside Centre Shopping Center (where Target, Ross, Dollar Tree) are The problem is the signal always changes for left turners whether anyone is turning or not, and lasts the full duration regardless This of course holds up eastbound travelers who may stopped by the Enterprise Way signal (which in itself can be a long wait) ,

The traffic signal that takes northbound Research Drive traffic to Old Madison Pike It "always" turns red for those on Madison Pike, especially when no one is leaving Research Dr The signal takes a long time, making us on Old Madison Pike wait for nothing When it finally changes for Old Madison, it's for only ten seconds R

The traffic signal apparently changes for non existent traffic Around 648 AM this morning it changed WHILE traffic was nearing it, heading northbound on Voyager Way NW stopping those on Explorer Blvd NW The signal DID NOT allow the northbound traffic to cross After about 20 seconds, it turned green for us on Explorer ..,

This traffic signal badly needs attention It ALWAYS changes for westbound (real and non-existent ) to left turning (southbound) traffic going into the Westside Shopping Centre. To rub it in, it stays for the maximum time whether there is traffic or not This of course unnecessarily stops eastbound traffic on University Drive

It gets worse It changes for non existent traffic leaving Waddell Dr NW or the shopping center; again for the maximum time By the time it changes after what seems forever, eastbound traffic gets stopped by the signal at Enterprise Way (which in itself can have long cycles)

The above happened around 1045 PM on Wednesday, me going eastbound Wonder how it is with the morning rush??? ,

Around 248 PM on 27 August, there were three cars including me headed eastbound in the right lane of Bradford Dr NW (intersecting with Wynn Dr NW). The traffic signal DID NOT sense us nor did it change t green , as it did for the west bound side of Bradford. Have noticed this particular signal in the recent past ignore other traffic as well.

The signal changes for non existent southbound traffic turning left on Lanier Rd like going to the Iberian Bank.
  • 169 Sparkman Dr Nw Huntsville 35805, United States - Huntsville
The signal apparently was activated for non existent traffic on Technology Dr NW before 1050 PM. I was heading northward on Sparkman Dr NW, and had to wait for a “good while” before it changed.

Traffic signal needs adjusting. It changes for non-existent traffic at all hours. Cannot tell which highway(s) it’s falsely sensing non-existent vehicles.
  • Sparkman Dr Nw And Knowledge Dr Huntsville, AL - Huntsville
Have observed that the traffic signal on Sparkman Dr NW changes for non-existent cross traffic on Knowledge Dr. Have seen this occurring for over a month, and as recently as ~345 AM this morning.

The light when it changes back to green on Wynn Drive - as of late it changes ONLY FOR westbound traffic first. I have seen this behavior both in the daytime and at night. Also, this light changes much too quickly for those going north or southbound on Bradford. It encourages those on Bradford to "run" it knowing it changes too fast.
