The boardwalk crossing West Park's pond has several damaged boards with rot/holes completely through the decking. Please fix this safety hazard. The previous placement of orange cones didn't solve the hazard...and, except for causing an unattractive mess now, they're doing nothing since they're in the pond. The boardwalk gets a lot of use and it needs to be fixed. Thanks for your attention to this safety hazard.

Poison Rat Traps on the sidewalk - W Washington between Ashley & First. These are placed on either side of the driveway to City Apartments and are labeled, "Warning - Rat & Mouse Bait - Do Not Touch - Keep out of reach of children & pets." Yet, there they are on a public sidewalk, which gets a lot of pedestrian traffic (some of it kids & pets). I gotta believe there's a better way to achieve whatever these are supposed to be doing, without subjecting the community to poison on a public sidewalk. Please check this out and remove them. Thank you.

Appreciating there have been many storms & downed trees these days...
There are 3 piles of downed branches & limbs in West Park. Two are located behind 132 N Seventh and 1 pile is north of there, still on the flats, but along the ridge behind the bandshell.
While not urgent, please add it to the clean-up queue.

Yowzer! West Park looks great after it's haircut today. That man on the giant mowing machine let the weeds and grass know who was boss. Watching him maneuver & cut sharp corners was poetry in motion. Thanks a million!

There's a nasty pile of clothing/bedding at the base of the big oak tree in West Park (just west of the pond). Never attractive, it's particularly unsightly after lying there all winter. It would be great if this was disposed of - thanks for your attention.

West Park Pond Distressed - The water level has fallen at least 6" in the last few days. The pond is shrinking & mucky flats are expanding. This happened last year and the pond rapidly turned into a mud-hole. Please provide remediation to fix the problem again. Thank you.

West Park lights burned out - safety issue. The driveway into the park, from Chapin, has burned out street lights. Please replace asap - it's doing nothing but getting darker in the evenings. Thanks for your help in making the park safer.

Recently, along the grassy knoll in West Park, 4 chestnut oak (quercus prinus) trees were planted. With recent hot weather, they're lookin' a little thirsty. I know this is a drought tolerant tree, but since they were just planted and we haven't had rain...
If the city gets tree watering bags on them, I'll work to keep H2O in the bags. Deal? Please check them out and let me know what's best. Thanks!

Oak tree down. In the oak tree grassy area, west of the pond, there is a dead & down oak tree. Sure hope it's not diseased. It would be awful if anything spread to that beautiful oak tree in West Park. Otherwise, it's not urgent, as it isn't blocking anything.

Nasty Mattress abandoned in West Park. Leaning against a tree in the SE corner of the park, off Chapin, it's been there for weeks.

West Park Pond is a mess. Despite all the rain we've had, the pond is drying up. It's mucky, wildlife is leaving and it looks very stressed. Please determine the problem and work toward a fix. Engage the community if you need help cleaning it up and restoring health to this great eco-system and very popular place for people of all ages.

Branches on the lawn extension tree need trimming to eliminate safety issues:
* Sight-line visibility for N Seventh is becoming impaired
* Branches are growing into overhead wires

...or driving on E Huron River Dr between Huron Pky and Hogback? It's a cratered mess in both lanes - potholes big enough to sink tires and rims. Please do what you can to fill some of these. Thanks!

Please install in-street crosswalk signage on N Seventh at Bath, to "calm" speeders and yield for pedestrians & bikes to safely cross.

In West Park, recent wind storms have downed large tree branches. I've cleaned up some, but these are way larger than compost bin ready. Since this is the 3rd ask, the pile is steadily growing. Located just off the south entrance from N Seventh.

There's a large branch down, which will need to be removed prior to the next park mowing. I cleaned up some of it, but it's way beyond compost bin size. Thanks for your attention

The park "lawn" is more than a foot and a half with weeds going to seed all over - please schedule for mowing before toddlers are lost forever. Also, is it possible to get this on a regular mowing cycle - the last time it was taken care of was in response to a SeeClickFix request also.

It would be great if West Park would be mowed soon. It's so long now that you could lose a small child in the grass.
