Curb Repair Archived17 3rd St N Saint Petersburg, FL, 33701, USA - Downtown Neighborhood Association
I'm unsure if sidewalk repair includes bike rack installation, but there's a pressing need for bike racks at the corner of 1st Ave N and 3rd Street. Specifically, placing them in front of Mary Margaret's Irish Pub, the pizza joint, or the burger joint would be incredibly beneficial. None of these businesses have any bike racks nearby, and with bike theft on the rise, it's especially challenging for disabled individuals like me to manage the potential risk of a distant bike location.
Several viable spots exist for bike racks placement, and I've highlighted a few potential areas. With the escalating downtown population leading to increased traffic, taking a car for lunch downtown has become nearly impossible. Bicycles have become a popular alternative due to their quick in-and-out convenience, but they require secure locking, as you're well aware.
Could you please explore installing a sturdy bike rack that can be bolted to the sidewalk? Alternatively, a heavy-duty rack that doesn't need bolting might suffice if it's strong enough to deter theft. This addition would greatly benefit the community, especially those reliant on bikes for transportation.

Sidewalk/Curb Repair Archived320 10th Ave Ne Saint Petersburg 33701, United States - Historic Old NortheastThese signs have been here for a couple months now. When is this sidewalk getting repaired?

Sidewalk/Curb Repair Archived155 9th Ave Ne Saint Petersburg 33701, United States - Historic Old NortheastJust curious what is happening with this sidewalk repair. The sidewalk has been in this repair for about a year now. Supposedly code compliance have a signed an analyst to it but that was a few weeks ago.
-
Codes Compliance Archived155 9th Ave Ne Saint Petersburg FL 33701, United States - Historic Old NortheastThis sidewalk continues to be in a state of disrepair. It’s been over a year. Who is responsible for this? Is it the city? Or is it the developer? Someone needs to fix the sidewalk for the residents because it’s been in this disrepair for far too long. This certainly is a code compliance violation of some sort.

Codes Compliance Archived155 9th Ave Ne Saint Petersburg Fl 33701 United States - Historic Old Northeast
This is located on 9th Ave. NE just west of Bay. A home was built here but that finished prob a year ago. There is an empty lot here, presumably so another home can be built, but there hasn’t ever been any action on it. Meanwhile the sidewalk that was ripped up during the construction of the first home remains what you see here. Extremely rocky and painful for dogs -and humans even- to traverse.
The realtor sign(Bryan Belcher) is listed. Maybe they can do something. But this sidewalk needs to return. I’m sure it’s a codes compliance issue. I’ll SeeClickFix it and see if that helps
