    Rats and mice are coming from the food businesses operated on Encinal at Oak St. My friend lives in the house on SE corner of Oak right behind the restaurant garbage bins. The neighborhood is flooded with rats and mice. She has trapped many mice and one rat in her home.The landlord upstairs has caught at least two. the woman next door's cat has killed 5 mice. My friend is afraid to be in her own apartment. there were mouse droppings in her BED last night. Her grandkids PLAY in her apartment. Her landlord has given up. Can you HELP her?

    I sent this earlier and it was closed. Unfortunately, the smell decreased, but is now back. This hot weekend made it clear.
    "The business in mustard colored buildings on Encinal have all the time a horrible garbage smell behind their building across the street from 1117 Oak. The stench is constant and overwhelming. I thought it might be a dead animal, but it has been like that for many months. I pick up a friend on Oak and I have to close the windows in my car or the stench takes my breath away. The people who run the sushi business seem to try to clean it, but the smell never goes away. It is horrible."
