    Still no cleanup of North Chatham Storm drainage channel.

    I was told this was to happen in November. Was that to be November of 2016 or some November in the future?

    Perhaps the next massive flood will clear away the debris from July 30 2016.

    Lawn maintenance contractors are disposing of grass waste into drainage culvert which is causing sediment to collect and for grass and weed growth to occur. This restricts water flow by cause branches and debris to become trapped and caught.

    Drain inlet is surrounded by overgrowth and is not being maintained or cleaned by the County to prevent blockage and results in flooding of homes and roadways.

    Storm water drainage water is overgrown, contains split rail fence posts, branches, wood waste which is collected and blocking water path from July 30th rainfall over a month and a half ago.

    The County needs to remove the debris and cut back the overgrowth so homes and the road do not flood again with a rainfall.

    This is causing a blockage that the water cannot get through no matter what amount of rainfall occirs.
