Rental Property owner had an old broken up concrete driveway removed and put in a rock driveway. Is there a code for proper driveway construction? The driveway is barely wide enough for a car. The contractor came back and was trying to drive his truck in the rock to compress it, but was getting stuck because the rock is so thick and his truck pushed up the 2x4’s making them more of a hazard. The contractor doing the work used 2x4’s to hold the rocks. I asked the contractor if he was going to remove the 2x4’s, he said no. The 2x4’s are a safety hazard by the sidewalk. We have kids playing and resident walking this sidewalk all the time. Please review and hopefully make a positive impact to our neighborhood. You wouldn’t want this in your neighborhood. Thank you.
