I would like an update on when County Road will be repaved. All of the houses on this road, including my own, will need the entire road paved up to the property line. Please see copy/past of prior correspondence below. Thank you!

    Hi Lauri,
Sorry to piggyback on this post but I also have questions about street resurfacing on Bay Farm. Would you be able to give me any information on when County Road might be repaved? Will it be affected by the new sewer plan? The cross street is Mecartney. It is one of those streets that has not been paved in almost 40 years.

Yes, we will be reviewing County Road next spring, and if there are no utility conflicts, will be paving it next summer (2017).

Black leather couch dumped in the street and blocking parking spaces.
  • 1613 Concordia Street Alameda, California - Alameda
A section of Concordia has been coned off with "No Parking" signage that does not look legitimate. The dates for no parking are barely visible. Please have someone check that these were properly permitted. The bulk of the signs are in front of the newly painted light green house w/white trim.

All power is out! At least a two block radius. AMP is not reporting that this is an outage when I call it in. There is no answer at AMP. Had to call the police line to get the info. Not happy.
  • Constitution Way Alameda, CA - Alameda
Not trees but bushes. The bushes that line Constitution Way from aprox. Buena Vista, Pacific to Eagle Ave. They are very overgrown and and make it impossible for two people to walk down the sidewalk. One portion that is ivy covered has started to fall away from the wall and block the sidewalk even more. That portion is growing on the wall. Not sure if this is city managed or privately own. Could be code enforcement.
  • 722 Lincoln Avenue Alameda, California - Alameda
Couch at aprox. 722/720 Lincoln on the sidewalk. Has been there since December.
  • 1671 Concordia Alameda, California - Alameda
Covered vehicle parked on street for over a week. Would take photo or report license plate number but I'm not comfortable removing the cover of a car that doesn't belong to me.
  • 60-98 County Road Alameda, California - Alameda
Abandoned basketball hoop left in public parking space next to curb. I originally reported this on 7/18. The issue was closed and archived even though the hoop is still there. Please explain why this happened. Please remove this old abandoned hoop. It should not be left in a public parking space. It has been there for years. You can see it on Google maps which proves that it has been there a long time. It makes the street look run down and junky.
  • 1649 Concordia Ave. Alameda, California - Alameda
Is this house abandoned? Looks unkempt and fence has fallen.
  • 735 Lincoln Avenue Alameda, California - Alameda
Vehicle parked in red zone and not moved for several weeks. Large truck with windows open and front end secured with bungee cords.

Faded Dead End sign completely covered by bushes.
  • 63-99 County Road Alameda, California - Alameda
Request for a red zone be added. Vehicles parking at this curb make it impossible for two cars to drive down this road at once.

Abandoned basketball hoop left in public parking space next to curb. Can be seen on Google maps. No additional photo required.
  • 804-840 Atlantic Avenue Alameda, California - Alameda
Sleeping homeless person wrapped in blanket against the gate to the beltline. Have seen them several times over the last week. At the corner of Atlantic and Constitution. Reporting this for a coworker.
  • 856-876 Atlantic Avenue Alameda, California - Alameda
Please increase the police presence in this area. The homeless problem has gotten out of control. The fence has been broken open again. This happens at least once a week. There are piles of garbage/human belongings and homeless camps popping up daily. Today I walked by and saw a man passed out half clothed laying on the dirt behind the fence.
