People continue to block our driveways due to the line not being slanted enough to reduce large non compact cars from blocking our driveway making it impossible to get out with our own car.
We’ve asked for the lines to be repainted but never got a response.
We put up a sign stating “Compact Car Parking Only” it was taken down.
I had to take a Lyft to an appointment today because I couldn’t get my car out. Please start towing cars that violate the No Parking marks or repaint the lines. The license plate for this car that blocked the driveway all day today and is still there is: Y94 GPL

I have a small wasp nest growing in my backyard. Does the city provide or recommend a humane/non toxic wasp removal service or suggestion?

This happens CONSTANTLY please place a Compact Cars only sign (I’ve purchased the pole and sign just need the city to install) here and repaint the lines at an angle. I’ve tried calling the parking office but can’t get through. Thank you!!

Hello, I paid the city fees for No parking stripes to be painted near my driveway but they were not painted at an angle to allow for enough turning radius. I continue to be blocked by oversized, non compact cars parking in my driveway and cannot exit. I thought I could make it work but I’m constantly blocked and unable to use my car. Please either come back and paint the lines at a proper angle and/or place no parking, compact car parking only signs next to the driveway (I already bought the signs and utility pole for the signs if the city is willing to put them up). Any help is greatly appreciated! I haven’t been able to pull out of my driveway for a couple of months now due to the consistent rudeness of people blocking the driveway. Help? Thanks!!

I paid the required $30 fee to have the No Parking stripes repainted in front of my house and was told they would be painted approx. two weeks ago but they are still not painted and I cannot use my driveway to get my car in and out of the garage. The people in the office were really friendly and efficient when I paid the fee but I still need the No parking stripes done. I work during the day so I can't take time off again to go the office to make the request a second time. Please help?

It’s impossible to use my driveway because of cars blocking the driveway as well as cars parked on the opposite side of the driveway. I realize parking is a challenge in the area. I want to respect the needs of the community but if I have an emergency and need to leave my house I’ll be stuck. Can the yellow no parking stripe on the opposite side of the street be expanded? And, white lines painted on the sides of my driveway to allow for more room to pull out? This will prevent traffic jams, and potential accidents. I’ve already had several other drivers yell at me, call me names etc., because it takes so long to navigate pulling out of my driveway. Thanks for any help you can offer.

The tennis courts at the Pershing Field are in desperate need of repair. The asphalt is uneven, cracks have weeds poking through, it's unsafe to play a regular fast paced game on the court due to these issues. Is it possible to get the courts repaired? Thanks!

Construction workers are back at this site today. According to the new policies of the state they are breaking the orders of C-19. Based on the governors dictate this is NOT a single family unit, they are converting to condos. They SHOULD stop construction. Multiple complaints have been made to this site, the mayor's office and the owner of the bldg. The construction site is not set up safely, debris not taken care of and there has been spread of termites to the neighboring building which has cost the owner $2,000 to try to get under control. The construction site is not netted to prevent debris from spreading, the workers are not using any type of social distancing, face masks etc. the health hazards are apparent. The police have also been called several times when the construction workers have trespassed on neighboring properties to access the roof of 85 Booraem. How much more do we have to do to get the city to shut this down? The owner doesn't even live in Jersey City, and has not been to the site to review all of the damage/rules that are being broken.

I live at 85 Booraem, there's wood and brick debris all over my yard, back porch, windows, and a TON of black soot that came through my windows. They also dropped full wood slabs onto my internet line thankfully I was able to stop them from doing that further or I could not work. I have a service dog, he had to be taken elsewhere today because he cannot access the backyard to relieve himself. I have epilepsy, and miniers disease. My dog needs the yard, it is currently engulfed in black soot which makes the air toxic. They need to net the construction site properly and figure out a way to manage the degree of soot. Thanks for your help. Please send someone immediately.

Please be sure to also check for hazardous material handling while they are doing the interior demo. The interior of the building is covered with black mold and there’s lead in the paint etc., with windows open and directly wafting air into my house there’s a health concern along with noise issues. Does the permit cover hazardous material disposal? Please send an inspector to review the property. The previous owner was a hoarder. Certainly, this should be done right if they’re tearing through walls. My walls are continuing to shake that’s how the close the buildings are. I don’t want air borne exposure. Thank you.

Demolition happening at 85 Booraem. They started early this morning before a reasonable hour. Not sure they even have a permit. People have been going in and out of the building at all hours. It’s noisy, dusty and the workers refused to stop banging. The building shares a wall with 87 Booraem its incredibly inconsiderate along with the fact that all the walls in my house are rumbling. Dishes are shaking off the shelves etc. It’s possibly dangerous too. Case of another absentee landlord...

At approx 2:30 this Saturday the Person driving the metermaid car, issuing parking violatiins, female. Was speeding through the neighborhood. Ignoring traffic codes down Booraem Ave. I told her to “slow down” just those two words. She selected to continue to act unprofessionally by yelling “Shut Up!” and continued speeding. There are children in the neighborhood. We’ve started a petition to install speed bumps on the street. This is another example of a City Employee not abiding by the rules of the City. People like this make all the other wonderful City Workers look bad. Give the job to someone that isn’t a risk to herself, and others. She could easily harm someone. I also reported this incident to the local police department.
