The number of coyotes in this city are growing at a dangerous rate. They are all over the city and now show up during the day in our streets and go into our backyards. DONT TELL ME to go to state dept of fish and wildlife. This issue is growing. They are not neutered and the packs are toohigh in number for an area this congested. Something must be done now, not when a big healthy coyote grabs a little kid. Go to the NextDoor site and view the number of pets eaten.

The coyotes traveling from the park to our small greenbelt have become too comfortable and dangerous. The last few months the coyotes population has increased and are killing our neighbor cats and walking in the street. This week, they have gone into one neighbors back yard and killed and ate their cat. We hear them at night howling and one neighbor heard them attacking and killing another pet. In past years, it was only a lone coyote walking thru from Boeing Creek park but their numbers have increased and we have two schools right by this greenbelt.

Last year I spent several days pruning ALL the young trees tht were planted few years back when dayton ave was regraded and repaved. This spring the trees finally look healthy and maintained. It was a big job for me and the city can't keep planting new trees without the budget to upkeep them. I was told there was no budget for an arborist. So in the future DONT put them in. When left unkept they look lousy and is not good for the health of the trees.
