    Sidewalk issue Acknowledged

    The previous descriptions about this sidewalk problem are still relevant. I saw an elderly person pushing a walker IN THE STREET while cars were carefully driving past her. At the time, I didn't know why she would be in the street, but then I happened to be biking on the sidewalk a few days later and figured out why. She could have fallen on the rough, uneven sidewalk surface, so she must have felt the street was safer. PLEASE FIX THIS RIGHT AWAY BEFORE A TRAGEDY OCCURS.

    Just like a few years ago, squirrels are chewing the bark on our maple tree again. I've also noticed other maples in the neighborhood with the same issue. I assume the affected branches will need to come down, as the others did in the past. Do you think there's anything that can be done to prevent the squirrels from damaging otherwise healthy trees?

    Further to my earlier messages on May 17 and 18, another large branch from our maple tree fell today. Thank goodness no one was underneath; it could have caused significant injury or worse. The branch is now in the street to be removed, and we request that the tree receive a thorough review and trimming of all branches that remain damaged after being chewed by squirrels a year ago.

    Further to my report from yesterday, a second branch just fell from the tree, and I am concerned about whether there are other branches that are unsafe and could cause injury or damage. Please evaluate as soon as possible.

    A branch fell down from our street tree (maple), and the remaining part of the branch needs to be trimmed back to the trunk. It's nothing urgent, but we can't reach it and will appreciate your service when possible. Thanks!

    Our maple has numerous dead branches that need to be removed; we're concerned about the risk of injury or damage.
    Also, our neighbor's sycamore (1506) has low-hanging branches that we would like to have trimmed.
