Sidewalk Concern Archived6956 Sunfleck Row Columbia, MD, 21045, USA - ColumbiaIt's been a year since BGE completed their new infrastructure on our street. They "forgot" to repair on patch of sidewalk in front of the electrical box between 6956 and 6960 Sunfleck Row. I've contacted them multiple times and was told they would catch it when they came back to finish this Deep Cup and Bendbough this Spring. They came back and finished, but left more of those patches labeled BGE on all the streets off Bendbough and never finished the cement, even when doing cements work on other sections of sidewalk. I know that it is not your responsibility, but I also know that in the past when you reminded them that it was past their allotted timeframe to repair, they came out a fixed. I am asking you to do the same, a little more weight than my phone calls carry.

Sidewalk Concern Archived6956 Sunfleck Row Columbia, MD, 21045, USA - ColumbiaThe water access plate (painted blue) in front of our house is lose again. My husband has vision issues and when someone kicks it out of place, he can step in a hole. He did tonight. It's not the first time this has happened. Whatever anchors it in place goes missing.

Sign and Marking Concern ArchivedHomespun Between Cradlerock And Oakland Mills Road Columbia, Maryland - ColumbiaPlease reconsider putting Deer Crossing signs on Homespun. Thankful for the ones on OM Road. However, people routinely speed on Homespun and deer cross constantly to reach the pond. Lots of fawn again making that crossing. Multiple have been killed over the last couple of years. Within one month last year, one mom who left and orphan fawn and two does together. It's and issue for both the wildlife and drivers. Those of us who live here drive the speed limit and constantly watch, but are then harassed by those who want to travel 50, and yes they do go that fast.

Sign and Marking Concern ArchivedEnd Of Dobbin Rd At Oakland Mills Road Columbia, Maryland - ColumbiaSign is laying in the grass and pretty bent. Couldn't tell driving by what sign it actually was. Doesn't look like it can be repaired. Apologies if this is a duplicate.

Sidewalk Concern Archived8171 Maple Lawn Blvd Fulton, Howard County, Maryland, 20759 - Maple LawnAt the back of this building near the Handicapped parking, the sidewalk and ramps are oddly configured. In the dark, both my husband and I fell off the curb. He caught himself, I didn't -- sprained foot and bruised legs. When we mentioned it to the restaurant staff, they noted multiple people have fallen off the curb and the management company has done nothing. It starts as a ramp and then raises to a curb. In the dark, and poor light, it isn't obvious. Hoping this is a code violation because the curb is not marked in any way. Curbs are marked all over the county in this type of situation. Can someone check it out, or get this complaint to whoever can address it.

Sign and Marking Concern ArchivedOakland Mills/Homespun Intersection Columbia, Maryland - ColumbiaThis intersection has no crosswalk for pedestrians on the Homespun Corner. Crossing that section is extremely dangerous with right and left turning vehicles almost constantly. The lights were recently upgraded and our hope that the crosswalk would be updated with either the light or painting didn't come to fruition. So requesting now.

Sidewalk Concern Archived6956-6964 Columbia, Maryland - ColumbiaThere are multiple places where the sidewalk has raised, once again, with the growth of tree roots. I know it takes awhile to repair and it may not be enough of an issues yet, but it will be by next year. Can you please have the areas either repaired or at least mark with yellow paint to warn walkers. As it get darker sooner, we seniors may not see, or remember all the areas that are raised when walking in the dark, or seeing through all the leaves.

Sidewalk Concern Archived6956 Sunfleck Row Columbia, Maryland - ColumbiaBG&E tore up the sidewalk and my lawn three weeks ago. The lines were spray painted for the utilities within a week, but non one has been out to replace the sidewalk or repair the damage to my lawn. I couldn't wait any longer, so I started the other parts of my lawn that needed work and hiring someone to replace part of their damage with mulch. Once they put clay all over the grass, it doesn't grow. However, the area between the sidewalk and street still need to be fixed, that is clay as well. My big concern is that the last time we had rain, I tried to walk around it and went down on the slippery clay. Someone told me today that they saw people walking across my lawn instead of the street to get around it. I don't want to be sued for something that is not my fault. How long should this take and when will it be fixed?
