Low Trees over bike path Archived575 Dorset Street South Burlington, Vermont - South BurlingtonTo be fair, I have not ridden this part of the bike path in a week or two so this may have been addressed. There are low trees over the bike path the length of Dorset Street, mostly on the east side

Drainage and Debris Archived928-1042 Kimball Avenue South Burlington, Vermont - South BurlingtonThere is still sharp gravel in the road here, same with Kimball/Kennedy and other intersections around town. Somebody's dump truck is leaving a mess. Cars fly by cyclists/pedestrians driving over the culvert shared with Williston and shoot gravel at you.

Crosswalk badly needed Archived1006-1566 Dorset Street South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
A crosswalk is badly needed at the Intersection of Dorset Street and Songbird Lane. Crossing here is a nightmare, Dorset Street is loaded with angry aggressive drivers three times a day, in the morning, when school lets out and during the evening commute. To further complicate this crossing the sight distances are poor due to the hill and frequently overgrown vegetation. During the morning commute Dorset Street northbound often backs up near the Swift/Dorset intersection so you end up with southbound drivers flying up the hill and northbound drivers creeping along while other commuters use Songbird as a shortcut between Spear and Dorset.
It is worth noting that kids cross here to walk/bike to school and Songbird is a popular shortcut for many bicycle commuters.
