In re: problem of drivers endangering legally crossing pedestrians at Home/Shelburne intersection, among others (Issue ID:12757324), signage as pictured here would be a welcome improvement. Thanks!

Ongoing issue with vegetation blocking sidewalk:

Here we have a (small) pile of snow left by sidewalk plow which appears to have abandoned it in order to turn away from the vegetation rather than risk damage by the blockage.

Planters placed up to edge of sidewalk with overgrowth into pathway. (Planters could be moved back from ROW or plants trimmed back or both.)

Is the NE pedestrian button working to spec.? I (gently) tapped it around 9:20 a.m. this morning. It audibly acknowledged my nudge. And then I waited, and waited, and waited, and watched others walk across against the light, and waited, and waited, and wilted in the sun, and then I crossed against the light looking over my shoulder for signs of light change which I never saw until losing sight of it south of Maple St.

(From 3/18) Shoveling/sweeping needed. Also, poor curb on King St. allows storm water to flow across sidewalk leaving to ice formation and sediment deposition.

Snow plowed across sidewalk and into our right of way. Trucked parked in a manner to limit both pedestrian and sidewalk plow's passage.

Poorly managed storm water flow from Howard and St. Paul Streets has deposited debris on both the street AND sidewalk.

Grass seed planted on eroded greenbelt is well on its way to rooting in place--Thanks! Yet, the ROOT cause of the erosion, the untrimmed vegetation presumably rooted in our city's right of way, remains. With social distancing and the alternate sidewalk across the street closed, the city needs to root out this sidewalk obstruction sooner rather than later, please.

Steel plate over sinkhole needs to be set in stabilizing asphalt mix or equivalent: LOUD report throughout neighborhood and throughout the night at the passage of every motor vehicle over it. And it's shifting out of position. Thanks!

Recycling and trash containers are now permanently positioned in our right of way on the sidewalk, blocking sidewalk plowing and salting. The recent expansion of the built-up area to the east of building out to the property line without any set-back has caused the shifting of containers onto the sidewalk.
