Ongoing issue with vegetation blocking sidewalk:

Here we have a (small) pile of snow left by sidewalk plow which appears to have abandoned it in order to turn away from the vegetation rather than risk damage by the blockage.

Traffic Signal Problems ArchivedChurch St & Main St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricIs the NE pedestrian button working to spec.? I (gently) tapped it around 9:20 a.m. this morning. It audibly acknowledged my nudge. And then I waited, and waited, and waited, and watched others walk across against the light, and waited, and waited, and wilted in the sun, and then I crossed against the light looking over my shoulder for signs of light change which I never saw until losing sight of it south of Maple St.

Sidewalk Archived457 Colchester Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricGrass seed planted on eroded greenbelt is well on its way to rooting in place--Thanks! Yet, the ROOT cause of the erosion, the untrimmed vegetation presumably rooted in our city's right of way, remains. With social distancing and the alternate sidewalk across the street closed, the city needs to root out this sidewalk obstruction sooner rather than later, please.

SidewalkBlocked Archived371-459 St Paul St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington ElectricRecycling and trash containers are now permanently positioned in our right of way on the sidewalk, blocking sidewalk plowing and salting. The recent expansion of the built-up area to the east of building out to the property line without any set-back has caused the shifting of containers onto the sidewalk.
