    Lumber on walkway needs repair/replace/staining. The pressure treated wood has been left unprotected from the elements. Hence it’s cracking and warping all along this initial Alpha Loop section off of the entrance from Haynes Bridge Road. It’s a waste of tax payer money to build and then neglect the maintenance necessary to give longevity to these wooden railings. Not a good first impression. Even worse is how this could indicate a lack of planning for maintenance of the expanding trail system.

    Park area between Haynes Bridge sidewalk and library parking is in need of pine straw covering. One area in range field has a large sheet of ground fabric open and exposed. Generally not well maintained.

    in my mind, I'm thinking maybe athe park department could add a hain link fence could be added so it completes it's "look" like the Hwy 9 construction area:? )

    I've noted some trees being replanted along the downtown city streets In addition to the need for replanting we also have a number of bushes downtown that have succumbed to foot traffic and dog P. While at Avalon this past week, I noted they put metal gates around all their tree and bush areas so dogs cannot pee on them and people cannot walk on the bedding area. With the city of Alpharetta considered doing the same? It could save on replanting and allow trees to grow to maturity, rather than paying for additional labor and materials necessary to restart new growth and keep the downtown area looking pristine.

    Why has all utility relocation work has stopped for MONTHS on this section of Hwy 9? Is the city actively demanding (squeaky wheel) that the company responsible gets back on task?

    Discussed with the head of the DOT project for Hwy 9 and he says his department can not press Our city representatives should press and press hard This extended project delay is not acceptable to Alpharetta residences, commercial businesses, nor those using the downtown corridor to get to other counties

    Having dinner outside at Coalition this evening (Friday evening) Multiple times of exceedingly loud vehicles going by Motorcycles (multiple blowing their pipes); pick-up truck (single screeching tires and pipes; and, two cars hot rodding past at different times with exceptionally loud exhaust systems It would be great to have a police unit to continually monitor this intersection (and to that point Main St as well) It's time to make this a weekend priority as residents and visitors deserve a comfortable relaxing time in downtown and the few that wish to blow off their steam need to be extinguished
