Yet AGAIN pick up hasn’t happened on 7th street. This seems to be happening every other week now. Way too often and there doesn’t seem to be anyone stepping up to correct the situation. Unacceptable! It’s time to get the mayors office involved. And that does not mean just forwarding the issue on to the sanitation department.

A man has set up his stand to sell water on the street corner again this year. It is located on the corner of Essex and Crombie in front of parking lot. He leaves the " booth" unattended with a jar for potential customers to leave their money. Besides being against the law it is also both unsafe and unsightly

Snow removal Santander Bank building on Essex. This building is always neglecting to clean the sidewalks after a snowstorm. Every storm they are the only building on the block to not properly clean. Once again they have neglected to do so. It is my understanding that you have 6 hours after a storm to clear sidewalks of snow and ice. It's now been 48 hours and we are about to have another storm and nothing has been done. As stated before, this is an ongoing issue with this location. Can the mayors office please do something about this?

Snow removal on public streets. The city sidewalks on the corner of Essex and Washington ( Samantha statue) haven't been touched 48 hours after the storm. This area is highly used by residents and tourist alike . It is also a destination spot for all the local businesses. I would think it would be a priority spot to plow out

A little disappointed on the lack of snow removal this past storm. Normally snow removal is spot on. Not this time. Crombie street parking lot is in poor shape and even worse, the handicap spots haven't been touched and not accessible. That's just wrong and certainly sends out the wrong message

Someone has set up shop on the corner of essex and Crombie. They are selling bottled water. They leave a cooler filled with water chained to a chair with a sign on it with the price. Its not a child selling lemonaid but an adult. Comes back later to pick up any cash ( if any). needless to say he does not belong there

Hedges haven't been trimmed back and now take over 2/3s of sidewalk . Forcing people to walk in the street . Crombie st is a cut through street for many of Salems kids as they make their way to the YMCA. Forcing them to walk in the streets rather than the sidewalk is an accident waiting to happen. Please fix this.

Snow removal..Please help me to understand who is responsible for removing snow from what I would think is a city street.. The area at the corner of Essex and Washington st. that borders the park with the statue of Bewitched is NEVER shoveled. I would think this would be a high priority being such a heavily traveled area and a touristy area, yet it is always snow covered, messy and slippery. How do you determined who is responsible. Personally if I was the owner of one of the restaurants near by I would be out there making sure the sidewalks were clear. Clear sidewals mean clear access to you establishments..Or at least complaining loud too make sure the city is doing something about it

street light in crombie st parking lot is out. It is the light closest to essex street and makes both the parking lot and the sidewalk very dark

Essex St And Barton Sq Salem, Massachusetts - City of Salem
The building on corner of essex and barton was tagged with graffiti a few months back. Now there is a second tagging on the building. It looks like this is starting a trend. Can anything be done before this gets out of hand. The Salem chamber of commerce is directly across the street and they are freshly painted and looking great. It would be a shame to have that building vandalized as well
