Icy or Snowy Street Archived242 Windsor Street Cambridge, Massachusetts - The PortThe Bike Lane on Broadway from Hampshire St to Galileo Galilei Way is covered in hard packed ice/snow, including a pile that was clearly pushed there by a snow plow and left. It is clearly unsafe to ride here, forcing many cyclists to ride in the right turn only lane (which actually seems to make far more sense based on where the bike lane is on the other side of Galileo Galilei Way).

Sidewalk Defect Archived119 Huron Ave - Neighborhood 9
THIS IS NOT PART OF HURON AVE PROJECT AREA. See below email from resident:
The sidewalk in front of 119 Huron Ave. (between Concord and Garden St.) is in rough shape. There have been many repairs over the years and it is currently a mix of (crumbling) materials. Our neighbor has recently had an injury and is now walking with a cane and I worry that she will have trouble navigating from her unit (119 unit B) to the driveway. She has to traverse the full length of the sidewalk each time to get from her gate to the driveway - and it is, as I said, rough and uneven.
I was unable to load the 5 year plan for repair to see if our section of Huron Ave was on it. We would be happy to consider paying for a brick sidewalk upgrade, but at least a smooth clear concrete one would be less worrisome.
Thanks so much for any information you can provide on this process,
