1213 21st St Humboldt SK S0K 2A0, Canada - HumboldtThere is a hole under the curb that is eroding away. Can it be filled and sealed so runoff will use the catch basin as intended?

Flooding Archived3rd St Humboldt, Saskatchewan, S0K, CAN - HumboldtThat time of year again. Catch basin on west curb is not open. Catch basin on east curb (in front of Imagin Photography) does seem to be open so this is probably as bad as it will get but traffic is having to slow down and hug the east curb to avoid splashing through this.

General Safety Concerns ArchivedOgilvie Ave Humboldt, Saskatchewan, S0K, CAN - HumboldtA resident who lives in the King Crescent area has advised that he is noticing an increase in traffic on Ogilvie that is not obeying the 30 km/hr school zone speed limit. in particular he has noticed this during the noon hour when there is a high probability of school related pedestrian traffic in the area. He notes the traffic seems to be westbound primarily suggesting people coming in on Hwy 5 from the east may be turning north at 4th Street and using Ogilvie to bypass the school zone on Hwy 5 (perhaps during the busier noon hour time period). If possible I would ask that you monitor this and request some enforcement if necessary to change behaviors and continue to encourage safe driving during school hours.

Flooding Archived3rd St Humboldt, Saskatchewan, S0K, CAN - HumboldtTwo catch basins along the west side of 3rd Street between 4th Avenue and 2nd Avenue are frozen and the water is backing up filling the ditch along the west side of 3rd Avenue. This road is prone to frost boils which are not being helped by having this water sit there for a long time. Luckily the water is building up to the point that it can spill over the street and get into a catch basin on east side of the street but it is creating a good sized lake in the process. Can you please thaw the catch basins and allow this water to go away?

Spray Park Safety ArchivedJci Spray Park Humboldt, Saskatchewan - HumboldtCan you please consider replacing the plywood access panels that cover the spray park control system? I have noticed that kids like to stand on them and even run on them and I worry that someone is going to get a sliver. The one corner is badly worn and the plywood is delaminating. It would be nice if we could replace them with a plastic or composite material that will stand up to the elements better.

Water Issues Archived4th Avenue & 3rd Street Humboldt, Saskatchewan - HumboldtThe culvert under 3rd Street just south of 4th Avenue is collapsed on the west side, potentially restricting flow. It may be possible to pry it open but someone will need to investigate and evaluate. The culvert under my driveway at 223 3rd street further down the road from this is also slightly deformed on the inlet side but not nearly as bad. Is there a best practice to keep them from getting damaged?
