Sugarbush Park tennis courts are badly in need of resurfacing. Numberous cracks, spalling, uneveness, and dead spots where tape was applied to cover cracks have developed essentially the year after they were last resurfaced. The east court is in the worst repair with ground water forcing its way up through the cracks. It seems that the underlying ground was not sufficiently well-prepared before the surface was laid and the court appears to be sliding eastward toward the park grounds, causing the playing surface to separate allowing weeds to grow in some of the cracks.
