The City of Pinellas Park pumped out a storm drain on 75th St. N. Two weeks later the sidewalk above the drain is ready to collapse. This issue needs to be addressed now before the sidewalk collapses and someone gets hurt.

Tenants are putting their trash cans on the right of way more than 24 hours before their pick up day. Note there is no lid on this trash can and I bet that by morning it is knocked over and there will be trash all over the street. Also the tenants leave dog feces and throw food behind their apartments which in turn I am seeing more rats in the neighborhood. They need to be told to keep their trash in approved containers with the lids tightly sealed.

The trash has been moved from the west side of the street to the east side of the street. The new owner of the property said the City told him to move his trash across the street, then it would be picked up. The owners name is Andres Damas and his phone number is 609-569-3301. The owner claims that Section 8 housing is the problem, and I agree. Make America great again and stop Section 8 housing.

This pile of trash is blocking the sidewalk. The grass is overgrown. The property owner should be cited for leaving such a mess on public property, and should pay to have it cleaned up. The City should not be paying for a cleanout of an apartment. Less government is a better government. Authored by a working Democrat.

Please give the guy who lives in the front apartment a copy of the sign ordinance. Also give the ladies who just moved in the rear apartment a copy of the trash disposal rules.

Steve's Lawn Service has been cleaning out their trucks near the storm sewer collection basin. The men throw out styrofoam cups in the gutter that end up in the storm water storage basin. They also have spilled gasoline all over the new road surface in several areas around their rented storage locker.

This is the second time that I have to report this violation of a basketball net on the right of way 24 hours a day. I had hoped that code enforcement would have caught this violation by being proactive, but alas not so in Pinellas Park. The only way to prevent this from happening over and over is to cite the offender. Stop being so nice to violators. The solution to these and other issues is for the City to buy some land in the area and build a park for the children to use. There is an empty lot on 34th St. and 70th Ave. that can be purchased from the Jehovah Witnesses for a park. Lets make a America great again and build a park for the neighborhood.

How ironic that the occupant has had their lawnmower on the their front porch but never used it since they moved in months ago. Also storing their lawn mower and other stuff on their front porch constitutes outdoor storage under Pinellas Park Code. If the occupants are tenants the property owner should be cited. This usually solves issues like this real fast.

Trash is placed on the right of way without being secured. This pile of trash was placed at the curb on Saturday. Can you imagine if it got windy before trash day (Wednesday), what the neighborhood would look like. I believe the last time I reviewed our City's codes, that it is a violation to put your trash at the curb more then 24 hours before your pickup day, and trash cans must be brought in 24 hours after the pickup day. The only way to stop stuff like this is to cite the owner of the property. This usually solves repeat violations for a longer period of time rather than just talking to the tenants.

I have asked my neighbors at 7470 34th St. N. to put their trash in approved containers. Now they are piling their trash in front of my house. I am concerned because I have noticed an increase of rats in the neighborhood due to the fact that many people leave pet food outdoors and leave their trash in just bags around the outside of their houses. Maybe it is time to print up some literature on how to properly dispose of trash. It needs to be written in English, Spanish, Cambodian and Ebonics to be effective.
