This house has been vacant for over 15 years. Last year some work was done to try to make it inhabitable but was never completed and the house abandoned. Since that time the lot has become overgrown and very unsightly. Because this house has been uninhabitable for at least fifteen years it has become an eyesore in the neighborhood and should be demolished if it cannot be brought up to code.

Up until the end of December there was a lot of construction work being done on this house presumably to make it livable. In Januaary all work ceased abruptly and the people working on the house disappeared leaving construction materials and debris scattered around the property. No one has ever returned to the site and either the job should be finished or the site cleared up. It is an eyesore to the community

Today the Hartsville truck came down Kenwood Ave and picked up all the debris from the past month EXCEPT for a large fallen tree branch in front of my house. Why was this not picked up? The street is clean except for this branch.

The bushes have overgrown the sidewalk at the intersection of north 5th Street and Kenwood Ave making it very difficult to see northbound traffic when trying to exit off Kenwood Ave. Northbound vehicles come down the hill at a high rate of speed and cannot be seen until about 100 yards from the intersection.
