  • Murray Hill Rd & Woodpark Ln Columbia, MD, 21046, USA - Columbia
I'd like to request a cross walk on Murray Hill Road near Woodpark Lane. Many residents from Columbia Commons apartments cross the street to catch the bus or go to the store across the street and there isn't any safe way to get across. Cars come over the hill and I've seen near accidents from cars having to hit their breaks because individuals are trying to cross. There are a few elderly and disabled individuals who struggle especially.
  • Clocktower Ln & Murray Hill Rd Columbia, MD, 21046, USA - Columbia
I'd like to request a walkway for pedestrians to cross Murray Hill Road to get to Clocktower. A lot of residents come from Columbia Common Apartments to catch the bus on Clocktower and have to hurry across the street which is very dangerous because cars come speeding up the hill and may not see people crossing the street.
  • 8495 Frederick Rd ELLICOTT CITY, Maryland - Ellicott City
The West End of Main Street is in desperate need of traffic calming. Most everyone obeys the 25 MPH coming up Main Street where all the shops are, then as soon as they get past the Ellicott Mills light, they think they are out of the city and floor it. The West End is a straight away, and people feel the need to speed. This makes it very difficult and dangerous for residents to cross the street, get into our cars that are parked on the street and even makes me afraid to walk on the sidewalk down towards the town that has no buffer to the cars going 40 or 50 mph. Take a walk down the street and you'll notice the residents park their cars so far onto the sidewalk because we're afraid of having our cars side swiped which happens a lot because of the speeders. Our dog has been hit by a speeding motorist on the street, and the kids in the neighborhood are afraid to cross the street because of how fast people drive. Speed bumps, a camera, anything. Please help.

Frederick Road Ellicott City, Maryland - Ellicott City

    Hello,

The speed of cars on Frederick road right before Main Street seems to be getting faster and faster. It takes about 10 minutes to back out of my driveway in the morning because cars are going so fast I don't have the opportunity to pull out. Is it possible to have a speed camera installed somewhere along this corridor?

    Thank you!
