    On Thursday, February 8th, at 1:30 pm, The Jefferson Apartments had Leaf Blowers out in their parking lot blowing all sorts of dust and garbage directly at pedestrians who were waiting at the Train Station for the Commuter Rail Train. It was not as if those using the leaf blowers were unaware of the commuters, but actually seemed they were laughing with each other as they did it. Myself, as well as others there, had to turn away as they hit us with the stuff. Why are these leaf blowers even allowed in the first place? They are a health hazard in so many ways.

    On Saturday the residents of the Pedestrian Mall area on Essex Street were once again subjected to "bucket" drumming all day. On nice days we too like to open our windows and enjoy the fresh air and sounds of nature. The excessively loud and disturbing bucket drumming is unfair to us and interferes with our peace and quiet.
