There are tons of rats. I see them in my yard. I see them in in all of the properties next to me and I see them down hartz street and the rest of the neighborhood when I walk my dog.
I know that to some degree rats are just a part of life, but there are way too many rats in the neighborhood. I see multiple everyday. It's closer to a public health hazard than the regular once in a while rodent sighting. Im not aware of any obvious reasons for such a hardy rodent population but if the city could do anything about it, I think the residents would greatly appreciate it.
