Sub-surface drains need cleaning as stormwater from rain storms flood intersection at 10th St N, 43rd Ave N, and Monticello Blvd.
  • 1006 43rd Ave N Saint Petersburg, Florida, 33703 - St. Petersburg
The intersection of Monticello Blvd, N, 10th St N, and 43rd Ave N has standing water during and after a rain storm. The drain culverts need to be cleaned out.
  • 1006 43rd Ave N Saint Petersburg, FL, 33703, USA - St. Petersburg
The recent severe storm have washed the street debris from several streets into this one storm drain. It is totally clogged... any subsequent rains cause the intersection at Monticello Blvd, 10th St N and 43rd Ave N to flood.

There is standing water on the ground near the sewage manhole on the north east corner of Monticello Blvd N and 10th St N. This is not from rain runoff, as there has not been rain in several days. A drain cleaning company was at that site a few weeks ago, but the problem continues to linger.

Neighbor has a 40+ foot oak tree that is dead and losing branches. Neighbor will not address issue that the tree needs to be removed or trimmed. Main concern that I have is that my electric, phone, and cable service all traverse through that tree.

The tree is on private property and on a property line with another neighbor.

Our neighbors to the west of us on 43rd Ave N are doing some major reconstruction to their property. This morning, concrete trucks came and poured their concrete. However, their clean up included washing their truck into the storm gutters. The water ran down hill to my yard and has pooled up at the corner of Monticello Blvd N and 43rd Ave N. A lot of the concrete waste, stone debris, and other materials has washed into the storm drain and remains on the road surface. This mess needs to be cleaned up by that company. This is also hazardous to my pets.
  • Corners Of Haines Road And 54th Ave N Saint Petersburg, Florida - West and East Lealman
After nearly two years, the Haines Road improvement is now complete! Great news! However, the new illuminated street signs at the intersection of Haines Road and 54th Ave N are backwards. The signs for 54th Ave N have been installed in the wrong direction. The block indication numbers (2500 - 2600) are reversed. East bound (2500) is on the west side of the sign and the west bound (2600) is pointing east. The signs need to be flipped! The Haines Road signs are correct!
  • 1006 43rd Ave N Saint Petersburg, Florida - St. Petersburg
The storm water drain culvert on the South East corner of Monticello Blvd North and 43rd Ave North has collapsed into the culvert. As a temporary safety precaution, I moved a storm water road barrier sign that was in my yard over the hole to warn pedestrians of the danger.
  • 1006 43rd Ave N Saint Petersburg, Florida - St. Petersburg
The street light across from 1006 43rd Ave N is not working.
  • 1006 43rd Ava N Saint Petersburg, Florida - St. Petersburg
There are four storm water drains located at the intersection noted above! The drains are plugged and clogged so badly that the street floods every time it rains. I have been trying since July 13th to get resolution on this issue! See prior submission! The city cleaned one culvert out, but did not fix the problem or remove the blockage! The intersection continues to flood and the water tables of the surrounding properties continue to raise! I have been pumping out my garage/basement for 16 hours per day since July 14th! I have personally contacted Mr Sam Stergil in the storm water department without getting resolution on this problem! Who can I talk to next to get some action on this issue?
  • 1006 43rd Ave North Saint Petersburg, Florida - St. Petersburg
The street drains at the corners of 10th Street North, Monticello Blvd North, and 43rd Ave North are slow to drain during heavy rains. The intersection pools water and overflows the street curb and into my yard. The drainage seems worse since Monticello Blvd was resurfaced and the size of the drain has been reduced. Request a crew to clear the storm water culverts and pipes under those streets.
