Two trees on the treelawn at 5900 4th St South are seriously dangerous -- one dropped a large branch on the sidewalk two weeks ago, and the north one that has no canopy is full of a very large bee colony that threatens people on the sidewalk. The short one with bees is NOT high enough to be near Duke Power lines, so cannot know responsibility.

The lamps on both of these streetlight poles are DARK. This makes for a difficult transition from 4th Streets South to 57th and 58th Avenues south, Eastbound--nearly impossible to see any road hazards for many yards. Not sure who services these poles--two different number schemes, as you can see on the photos.

    4th St S & 57th Ave S St Petersburg, FL, 33705, USA - Bahama Shores Homeowners Association
When people park at this entrance to 57th Avenue South and 4th Street South, they create a very dangerous situation for westbound vehicles on 57th Ave S. Several times every day those heading eastbound sweep off 4th Street at speed, and veer into the left lane to avoid the parked vehicles. Drivers and bikers coming West have to evade a head-on collision. PLEASE MAKE THIS SPOT ON 57th NO PARKING until East of the 58th Avenue South intersection. The North side of 57th Ave S is already no parking. Thank You
  • Alcola Way S & 54th Ave S Saint Petersburg, FL, 33712, USA - Lakewood Estates Civic Association
In the Eastbound center lane of 54th Avenue South, right at the point where the left-turn cut begins for Alcola Way South (roughly 1900 54th Avenue S), there is a depression in the pavement that is increasing in depth every week. It is now deep enough to cause a driver to lose lane control (jarring, especially at speed limit). Thanks for investigating SOON.

The power line from this streetlight pole to the next pole has a BROKEN support cable and apparent damage to the power line where the cable broke. I do not know who owns this light.

The two large trees adjacent to the city sidewalk on the East side of 4th Street South just South of 59th Avenue are seriously dangerous. Every storm brings down large limbs, and some fall onto the sidewalk during calm weather. The tree in the foreground has lost about 40% of its previous mass in falling limbs.

200 57th Avenue South Saint Petersburg, Florida - Bahama Shores Homeowners Association
The Eastbound STOP SIGN at 57th Avenue and 2nd Street south has been hit and bent down about 45 degrees (the post seems to be OK). We have seen at least two vehicles run right through the intersection at night, probably because the sign cannot be seen in the dark.
  • 5920 4th St S St. Petersburg, FL 33705, USA - Bahama Shores Homeowners Association
There is a large tree limb hung up in another limb directly over the sidewalk--broke off in yesterday's wind. If it falls it could seriously hurt anyone walking on the sidewalk.

REF: Former See Click Fix report 15-00014039.
The referenced report was “closed” on October 2015, probably because the thick overgrowth all around the house was cleared away by the N Team after the first report. The inspector listed was JEANNE DUNN.

HOWEVER, the derelict vehicles in the driveway (now there are two of them) were NEVER REMOVED. The maroon sedan has now been rotting on its tires for over two years (I know because I walk the neighborhood 4x per week). Its bumper still overhangs the public sidewalk.

I cannot understand why the owners, the Hartmans, do not just call up one of the charities that gladly receive donated vehicles, and get a free removal plus a tax break.

It is becoming very frustrating to have our lovely neighborhood blighted by such irresponsible owners. That house has had 27 CODE VIOLATIONS since 1995.

Utility Pole 8331 Bahama Shores Drive South Saint Petersburg, Florida - Greater Pinellas Point Civic Association
The utility line (landline phone?) extending south from pole #6331 is sagging very low to the ground. It is presently less than 10 feet above the curb. There is a VX tag on the pole above the aluminum numbers, and the pole is quite old

Red sedan derelict for over 16 months; extends over sidewalk on 59th Ave S (corner lot). Yard is overgrown; sidewalk is always covered with debris & overgrowth.
