Visual Obstruction Archived701 Oakwood Ave Raleigh, North Carolina - North CentralThere are some low lying branches in front of the Oakwood Cemetery gate on Oakwood Ave, near Watauga St. If you are heading south on Watauga and turning on to Oakwood, it's hard to see cars coming westbound down the hill on Oakwood. The branches could be trimmed back to improve visibility and safety.

1916 Oakwood Avenue Raleigh North Carolina - North CentralEver since Oakwood has been resurfaced, the signal at Oakwood and Raleigh Blvd no longer cycles for bicycles. One must either wait for a motor vehicle to trigger the signal, or get out of the road and on to the sidewalk to press the pedestrian button. Oakwood is designated as a bike route via city mapping and on street "Sharrows". Please adjust signal sensitivity or add a timer that allows bike traffic to cross without having to dismount or depend on motor vehicles.

Signal doesn't trigger for bikes Archived2-34 West Peace Street Raleigh, North Carolina - MordecaiThe light at Peace and Wilmington/Halifax does not trigger for bicycles. Whether approaching from Halifax and Seaboard Station, or from Wilmington Street and Downtown, the light will not change without a car or getting off the road to press the pedestrian walk button. Even early morning or late at night with no traffic around, the light will not trigger for bicycles. It's unfortunate to have to depend on motor vehicles to cross Peace Street at this busy intersection. I see lots of other folks on bikes crossing here, so I know it's not just me. Could someone adjust the sensor sensitivity to pick up bikes?

Neglected bike in City Plaza Archived443 Fayetteville Street Raleigh, NC 27601, USA - CentralThere is a bike which has been sitting in City Plaza for some months, completely neglected. Previous owner lost the key to the lock, and it is just sitting here rotting and slowly losing parts to theft. I'm willing to find a new home/give the bike to a local co-op, but don't want to look sketchy trying to cut the lock. It is currently an eyesore and is taking up space on a bike rack which is used heavily during the day.
