Alameda Pedestrian

  • 1400-1410 Page Street Alameda, California - Alameda
Cars are constantly parking across the crosswalk at Central and Page, blocking the handicapped access and impairing vision for drivers coming off of Page onto Central. Can we please get the corner painted red so park goers and people from out of area know to not park there? Thank you.
  • Page At Taylor Alameda, California - Alameda
The North-East corner of Page and Taylor is completely blocked up and not draining. The water is up over the sidewalk corner and going up the lawns on that side. There is no apparent blockage on the street level. We need someone to come and pump it out.
  • Taylor And Page St. Alameda, California - Alameda
The may or may not be a sewer issue, but there is a terrible smell in the area of Page and Taylor streets, pervading the entire neighborhood. It's inside our house, and worse outside. It smells of raw sewage, like a really bad day at Crab Cove. Can you please have someone check for the cause? Thank you.
  • Central Ave And Page Street Alameda, California - Alameda
The Alameda Bike For the Parks concert is going on, and it is very loud along Page Street. They set up the concert in the baseball park on upper Washington Park, and set up the speakers to point at Page Street. As a result it is very loud along Page Street today. I can hear the lyrics clearly inside of my house with the windows closed. We weren't give any advance notice this would be happening. Please have the Park District either point the speakers away from residential areas or inform residential areas that a public concert will be playing in the area, loudly. Thank you.
  • 1302 8th Street Alameda California - Alameda
Tonight (Sunday, July 17th, 5:30pm) there were 7 large cars parked on the surface next to the baseball field, near the swings. I believe this is a no parking zone. They're using the pavement access at 1302 8th Street to enter the area. It's been an increasing problem at the park, both Upper and Lower. Would it be possible to have a gate or an access post placed at the entrance of the pavement accesses? Restrict access to Park Vehicles? The cars are an eye sore, probably illegally parked, and there's little protection for the children playing in the area from moving cars.
