City of Seminole - Public Works

The City of Seminole received a message from a plumbing company reporting a water line leak between the street and meter at 6230 Seminole Blvd. Also, shut off at the meter needs to be checked.

The City of Seminole received a report that there is a large pothole at the intersection of 86th Ave and 113th St. Going west on 86th Ave, it is on the left.

Stop sign at the intersection of 84th Lane and Ridgewood Circle is leaning and looks like it is about to fall.

The City of Seminole has received reports that there is a strong sewer smell coming for the air relief valve on the force main located along the Pinellas Trail, near the intersection of 74th Ave and 118th St.

The City of Seminole has received a message stating that there is a dead tree in the right-of-way on the southwest corner of 125th St/86th Ave. Tree sits behind the sidewalk but County GIS shows that tree is in the right-of-way. Resident is concerned about safety since a crossing guard is stationed at this location.

The City of Seminole received a report that mattresses have been dumped in the right-of-way at Ridge Rd and 117th Ave.

The City of Seminole received a call stating that the culverts and swale on the west side of Park Street, south of Burning Tree Drive need maintenance. Caller reported that there are weeds blocking the culverts and trees are overgrown causing an issue with drainage. The drainage area starts just south of entrance to Sweet Magnolia Place.

The City of Seminole has received a report that there are three (3) broken safety bollards on Park Street (west side), south of Burning Tree Drive. The bollards are near the entrance to Sweet Magnolia Place.

The City of Seminole has received a report of constant standing water in the gutter between address 11955 101st Ave and 11973 101st Ave. Caller confirmed that there is standing water even when there is no rain. The City of Seminole has confirmed that we have no stormwater pipes in this area.

The City of Seminole received a message stating that there is a large area of what looks to be dead mangroves on the south side of Park Blvd, east of address 10400 Park Blvd (Seminole's Waterfront Park)
Caller is concerned that it may be an issue that will spread to the healthy mangroves in the area.

The City of Seminole received a message that a mattress has been dumped in the area of 118th St/80th Ave, in grass area next to the Pinellas Trail.

The City of Seminole received a report that tree limbs are hanging very low over the roadway on 69th Ave, near address 11155, making it difficult for garbage trucks and other high vehicles to get through.

Resident at 7772 115th Street has reported that a filter sock is in front of the storm drain by her home. She is not aware of any construction in the area and was hoping that it could be removed.

The City of Seminole has received a report that there is a deep pothole at the intersection of 109th St and 101st Ave.

There is a large dead animal, possibly a coyote, in the westbound lanes of Park Blvd, near Lake Seminole Park.

The City of Seminole received a report that the sidewalk leading to the back entrance of Lake Seminole Park (on the west side of 98th St, just south of 82nd Ave) is covered in debris and needs blown off. The County GIS shows that the sidewalk falls within the park boundary lines even though the sidewalk is outside of the park fence.
