Snow Removal Archived56 Federal St Portland, ME, 04101, USA - PortlandAir BnB guest left their car outside 56-58 Federal overnight *during* the 12/31 Parking Ban - since they weren’t towed, we weren’t plowed ... kindly prioritize snow removal, so we can regain the 2-3 affected parking spots in this very busy mixed-use neighborhood. Street Signs ArchivedIndia St & Middle St Portland, ME, 04101, USA - Portland
Adding some additional info to Issue ID: 5709812
Upon approach, it's actually difficult to see the stop sign at the corner of Middle and India -- it hides behind the two utility poles, which sit further out into the travel lane than the stop sign.
The stop sign is not really adjacent to the travel way - If a box truck, for example, were parked in the space just before the intersection, I doubt one could even see the stop sign.
Further complicating matters, this intersection only recently became four-way stop -
Could a flagged 'stop ahead' sign be added to the utility pole in the foreground of my photo? Could "STOP" be painted on the pavement?
Thank you!

Now imagine it is winter. Or dark.

Traffic Light Archived222-224 Congress Street Portland, Maine - PortlandWhen the light turns green headed up Munjoy Hill on Congress (at Washington), the Left Turn Arrow does not engage unless/until you arrive on the pressure plate at the intersection. Traffic coming down the Hill still has a red light, but it is unclear when approaching the intersection whether it is safe to commit to the left turn until you've come to a stop and triggered the Arrow. Could the Arrow come on with the green lights?
