Requests: road safety
5324 61st Ter N Saint Petersburg, FLI am a resident of the Millbrooke Ranch community located next to the Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch at 5500 62nd Ave N in Pinellas Park.
On behalf of residents of this community I would like to inquire on the status of the sidewalk project on 62nd Ave N. There is no sidewalk between 57th and 58nd block on the south side of the 62nd Ave N. There is the sidewalk between 55th and 58th St on north side of the 62th Ave N, however, there is no proper signalization on the 55th block in order for kids for cross 62nd Ave N safely.
Completing the sidewalk project on this county road will only increase safety of many residents living in the neighborhood, especially our children. With the recent opening of the Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch nearby, situation is getting worse with more young children going to the park.
Can you provide an update on the latest plan for completion of the sidewalk project on the 62nd Ave N?
On behalf of hundreds of residents of our community and all of children living in this neighborhood, thank you in advance!

Autumn Run is zoned residential only however a commercial construction and paver business has been operating out of the home for several months. They park construction trailers and construction vehicle trucks all over the property and the street.
On the weekends all of the workers gather to party, drinking to excess, blaring music and allowing small children to roam the streets without adult supervision. These children have come very close to being struck by passing cars.
The workers also engage in violence and starting a fist fight in the street just a few days ago, breaking bottles and engaging in loud, destructive, and disruptive behavior.
This must stop immediately.
Please investigate for any and all notable ordinance violations listed and if required report any child safety issue concerns to the PPPD and DCF.
6735 79th Ave North Pinellas Park, FloridaAt approximately 1030am, December 24th my wife was walking west with our 20lb dachshund/beagle mix dog on a leash on the north side of 79th Avenue when she was harassed by a 100lb black Shepard and a 50lb black dog of non-determined breed. She crossed over to the south side of the street and reined in the leash on our dog but the other two dogs persisted to rush, barking aggressively. Neither dog was on a leash of any kind and furthermore, the owners were out in their front yard (6735) viewing the entire incident. It was apparent that the owners had no control over their animals as they did nothing but try to get them to come home by calling to them. My wife was forced to stop in defense and aggressively yell at both dogs. Even when the dogs backed off some they persisted to try and follow her home and it was only then that the owners left their yard to reclaim their dogs. There is only one sidewalk on 79th Ave and that is on the north side. Residents should be able to walk either alone or with their pets on a leash without fear of harassment. Under no circumstances should they be forced to walk in the street in fear of their safety.
6880 43rd Street N Pinellas Park, FLMy dog was just hit and injured yesterday from a car speeding through the light at 43rd Street North and 70th Avenue N. This is an ongoing problem and needs to have a more permanent solution other than increasing traffic enforcement. I am requesting that the city of Pinellas Park install a speed table on 43rd Street north & 70th Avenue N on the south side of the traffic light to decrease vehicle traveling speeds and help keep our community safe.
10770 65th Way North Pinellas Park, FloridaSpeed humps need to be redone, the genius that approved the overlay on this neighborhoods streets did nothing more than create a nice smooth transition allowing those that like to speed through this neighborhood as a short cut to go faster. HUGE SAFETY HAZARD CREATED BY SOMEBODY WHO GOT A RAISE FOR SAVING MONEY FOR THE CITY! YET INCREASED DANGER FOR CHILDREN AND RESIDENTS.
86th Avenue North pinellas park, Florida 33782west of 86th avenue from 66th street branches of trees and bushes are leaning the street and only half of the road can be used, is a great risk for the schools and health facility commuters, ACCIDENT IT MAY HAPPEN IF IMMEDIATE ACTION NOT IMPOSED.
Thanks! Thanked!10192 45th Way North Pinellas Park, FloridaPeople continue to speed all around Mainlands Blvd and at times, one would think that 102nd Ave were a drag strip. On Tuesday, 7/2/13 a Pinellas Park police car sat in a parking lot on 102nd Ave just before The Mainlands property around 8 PM but their presence needs to be during the rush hours in the morning and evening and instead of parking in a business parking lot at the beginning of 102nd Ave, they need to set up radar half way between 45th Way and 42nd St. where the speeding occurs.

This sidewalk is still a mess. It is a safety concern for people walking, especially children. i have already reported this once. something needs to be done.
Also, these pavers have been sitting in front of this house for weeks. How long are they just going to sit there? It would be nice if Pinellas Park took a little pride in how the neighborhood looks. This house already needs improvement especially with all of the things they collect in their yard.
