Description

I have lived over this Oakland neighborhood a little over 20 years. As I been here and still live in this area, I have notice some concerning things. All of these concerning items include our big problem with homelessness in Oakland. I do not have a problem with decent homeless people trying to survive on a day-to-day base. As long as they clean after themselves. The ones who are criminals and creating chaos and problems are the ones who should be stop. Over the course of last year, I have been reporting the tent homeless by the railroad tracks near Russet Street in Oakland. Thank you for helping us clear them and improve our air and city cleanliness. The new problem is that we now have homeless living in trailers in the dead end of 10899 Russet St, Oakland. Not only have these homeless created; street, debris, appliances, and furniture litter, but rodents, sideshow with stolen vehicles, gunshots, abandon stolen vehicles, plus all the illegal dumping, toxic dumping they continue to do. I am concern for our safety and health during this crisis of COVID. As many of these things are causing rodents to travel to all our neighborhood homes. All junk materials on all from that end spread around both sides, one side has a sidewalk with trash and the other on the side where homeless park there vehicles.
