Tuscullum and Colemont daily have speeders, especially before 7am and after 7pm. Even during school hours. Why should it take someone (pedestrian or driver) getting hit to fix these neighborhood streets? In a school zone no less! I fear for the crossing guards or students crossing the street. We AREN'T a traffic calming neighborhood (yet) and it is ridiculous that it is once in a blue moon (July 5-31) that we can register to be considered. We don't have a council-person on our street to get things done and even if we did, we wouldn't want something done half-crap that just gets ran through and tore up. I understand that we aren't the only neighborhood. The availability to get; speed hump, speed bumps, any traffic calming tools is too limited and the process is just a ball of red tape.
