Description
I found signs posted to the trees on my block saying No parking - Tow Away Zone on Tuesday and Wednesday (2/16 & 2/17). I’ve been told by neighbors that the utility company will be digging up the street in order to install fiber optic lines. There is snow piled up in many - would be - parking spaces leaving few, if any, places to move your car. Additionally, we have winter storm warnings for tonight into tomorrow and another projected storm for Thursday. Is there any way your office can sway the utility to defer this work a month or two when the weather should be more accommodating? The weather conditions will present a dangerous situation for both the workers and the residents (Heaven forbid they hit a gas line). Can anyone intervene in the interest of common sense and public safety? Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
