Description
This intersection is dangerous and needs a light. I have regularly taken a bike to the train and back, and turning right onto Saw Mill Rd is one of the most perilous sections of my return trip, especially if I am turning on Main St..
It's is also not very safe for cars either as people regularly speed coming down the hill under the railroad bridge.

This is true. Afternoon/Evening traffic exiting the NH bound side of the train station is merging into southbound traffic headed downhill on Saw Mill. Making it worse is the fact that traffic is splitting early into two lanes ahead of the Elm Street stoplight.
I am also a West Haven bicycle commuter. Bike lane and sharrow markings and signage are sorely needed in the area as well.
Plowing and salting of the hill there is also an issue. It is very steep and east facing, so is in the shadows in the evening. Very slippery.
