Description
There is a disabled automobile parked on the sidewalk for the past 3 months at address 751 S Chadwick Street. The front bumper of the automobile is pressed up against a city curbside pole. It's an early 1980's beige sedan-model vehicle. Resident neighbors cannot walk on the sidewalk because of how it is parked; it has not moved for several months and needs to be addressed.

In order to enter a service request for an abandoned vehicle, the Police Dept. requires the following: the color make and model, the license plate number and state, the condition of the vehicle, if anything is broken or missing, if the vehicle is drivable, how long the vehicle has been there, and the police district. This information is needed for each vehicle.
A vehicle which is inoperable (e.g., missing or flat tires),
hazardous (broken glass), has expired registration, and/or a
expired inspection sticker will be considered to have been abandoned.
If a vehicle meets the criteria of an abandoned vehicle,
then and only then will it be towed.
Thank you. mb
