Taxpayers pay, city gives funding to homeless advocates, homeless advocates line their own pockets (with high salaries, that’s why it’s called nonprofit, no profit is made Bc the salaries absorb the “profit”), the rest of the funding used to buys tents, used broken RVs, parks on city of Oakland land, police told to not enforce homelessness, vilify to police, residents have to live around garbage and continue to pay for it.

This is called zip code discrimination.
Dear Mayor,
It is not good for one's well being to be constantly subjected to piles of garbage, filth, graffiti, homelessness, human feces, hypodermic needles. You have the power to help to improve people’s quality of life/their mental health by using laws, regulations, and codes already in place that if they were enforced would help to do that.
Please write to the Mayor officeofthemayor@oaklandnet.com
lschaaf@oaklandca.gov.
The more people that write the more she may understand that ZIP CODE DISCRIMINATION is no longer acceptable in Oakland.
