Description

City tree fell at the curb during Hurricane Isaias ripping up city sidewalk. I cleared the street and removed the tree, but need to have the sidewalk repaired. Put in a 311 request 311-03453973. A DOT inspector came and said that the city should repair the sidewalk since it was caused by a city tree and that I should be getting something in the mail. A week later the request was closed stating that this is not in the DOT's jurisdiction. I put in another request and was told the same thing Request #311-03603249. Whose jurisdiction is this if not NYC?
