this accident happened three weeks ago on 74th ave. and 2 months ago a car killed my puppy, the city really does not see the big problem we have? Cars and motorcycles drive on this street at more than 70 miles per hour, we need a solution, we need bumps on the street and 'or that the street is one-way, cars that pass through the international prefer to pass here To drive at full speed, this is a serious problem, because they do not realize that we have children who cannot go out freely or to the sidewalks to walk for fear that one day more things like this will happen, this needs a quick solution.

The City is very difficult to work with. To get speed bumps added to your street you have to fill out an application with Department of Transportation, and then have it signed by the residents on your street. DoT makes it really hard to for residents to ensure the safety the City is supposed to be readily providing. Especially in East Oakland.
