Description
this tree has no room to grow. it's damaged the sidewalk and the curb. it needs a proper hole cut. it's a big old healthy tree. it DOES NOT need to be removed, just given room to grow. (root shaving is not what needs to be done, but is the closest option below. Sidewalk opening needs to happen). thx

I understand but unfortunately the concrete is the responsibility of the property owner. Our Division does not have the equipment for concrete work.
Per city ordnance it is the responsibility of the property owner to maintain their sidewalk. Therefore, the property owner must excavate the problematic concrete before any issues can be addressed by the Division of Parks and Forestry. Parks and Forestry are responsible to address any root conflicts within 1-2 business days once the property owner has excavated their sidewalk and notified the Office of Parks and Forestry.
