Description

I reported this house last time and the landlord came for 1 hour and out a piece of wood to cover the front door. 1 week later it has been broken off and people are living in there and other people are looking around the property to live in it. The exterior has foxtails and huge amounts of weeds all over the sidewalks and through the gates and trash piled up on the sides. Windows broken at least 10 of them. Children playing in the glass. The owners are not understanding what they are doing to the neighborhood please fine them

Please fine this it has been vacant for YEARS. Oakland voters in November approved a tax that applies to any privately owned property in the city — including residential, commercial and empty lots — that is not “in use” for more than 50 days in a calendar year starting in 2019. The annual tax is $6,000 per parcel for most properties, regardless of size or value
