There could be no greater attraction for out-of-towners to shop here, and it could be located anywhere in Huntsville and would still attract lots of customers. It is not their policy to place stores near each other, so there sould b3e no danger of the Huntsville store being superseded by anotyher Ikea anywhere nearby.

It very popular with young working people, young families starting out, which is what we want to attract to Huntsville, and also with empty nesters who are downsizing from a big family house to a smaller condo or apartment., where their old massive furniture will no longer fit. It would absolutely renovate Haysland shopping center just on its own. The sales taxes from residents of all the towns in N Alabama and S Tennessee would be a stupendous benefit.

And it is not a "fad" type of business, like a chain restaurant. It is a unique business.
