Yes, the sidewalk and bike lane are always blocked during their business hours, and sometimes the car lane is also partially blocked. This is a hazard for pedestrians and cyclists.

This is still a problem. It got better for a couple of months and now is getting really bad again. I appreciate that the issue was forwarded on to Code Enforcement, but whatever action they have taken has not been effective over the long term. Is it possible for Parking Enforcement to drive by frequently and write some parking tickets?

This problem has not been solved, or gotten any better. Both auto repair places continue to both block the sidewalk and double park in the bicycle lane. The auto repair businesses park across the sidewalk to work on cars and as expected when working on cars, fluids leak into the street.

Despite all of this I am going to close this issue. It is really a parking enforcement problem which the Public Works Agency doesn't seem to have any control over. And at least until now, parking enforcement staff appear unmotivated to drive by and issue parking tickets.
