Per the AirBnB listing, individual rooms are advertised as being rented out by the night which is a rooming house situation which I believe is illegal.

The property is being advertised as being located on St Pete Beach, when in fact it is located in St Petersburg, in Maximo Moorings.

Thank you Diane, and thank you for the link to the listing that I included in my report. I had reported this issue back in February and no one was able to confirm an AirBnB listing - but you came through whether you realize it or not. So now the listing is there and we may get some action. We spoke to one of the renters who said the property was basically misrepresented, and I filed a report with AirBnB. Coincidence or not, a lawn maintenance crew was out there today and not only mowed but trimmed some overgrown palms and put a bunch of debris in the trash barrel.

We have forwarded this complaint about 4300 53rd Ave S to our Codes Compliance Assistance Department, and they will now inspect the location and take any necessary action. Sincerely, Mayor's Action Center
