There NEEDS to be a bigger crosswalk warning here. It is extremely dangerous for anyone wanting to cross here. Please install pedestrian lights, or rapid-flash beacons

Thankyou for reporting on SeeclickFix with your concerns about the pedestrian warning signs at 101 Ave and 92 ST. To be consistent with other municipalities in Canada the City follows the national standards on crosswalk design, as developed by the Transportation Association of Canada (TAC). Our Engineers have checked the crosswalk and can confirm that there are four pedestrian warning signs already installed at this crosswalk; two signs for southbound traffic and two signs for northbound traffic. The existing signs are clearly visible to approaching vehicles and their design and size (600mm wide and 750mm tall) is consistent with national standards. The City is currently reviewing locations of crosswalks that can be upgraded to include pedestrian activated flashing lights. Budget constraints do not enable us to install flashing lights at every location and we therefore prioritize locations with sightline issues, a high number of collisions, or a high pedestrian demand. As the pedestrian crossing at 101 Ave & 92 St is not considered a priority location I would encourage anyone feeling nervous about using the crossing to cross at the signalized pedestrian crossing just 90m south of this location.
Thanks again contacting the City.
