Description

Two spaces on the southwest side of Academy Street approaching the intersection of Tuers Avenue are marked with paint for no parking. They are right near the new Hudson County Community College STEM building. However, cars are consistently parking or idling in these spaces on a daily basis. If approaching the intersection from Tuers Avenue going north, these cars make it impossible to see eastbound traffic on Academy Street, creating a very dangerous situation. The parked cars in these spaces block visibility of oncoming traffic on Academy Street. Please ensure compliance with the no parking rules for these spaces, either through enforcement, signage, delineators, curb extensions, or some combination of these.
