Description
The gatehouse fence at Laurel and Ravenswood is a blight on Menlo Park. The gatehouse is the oldest structure in Menlo Park and the only remaining gatehouse in California. I have lived in Menlo Park for 35 years and I can not remember when this fence looked good. But, the city has built an arch as a nod to the formation of Menlo Park. Please repair the fence. The wood fireplace surround that was part of the estate is in the de young museum.
