I can’t sell my property because of the view of the American Tower on the next street over to my lot near Ponce De Leon Blvd. It’s really hurting the business because tower located unconvietnly for the residents and property values depreciate because of that tower. I’ve had 20 customers who loved the location but the cell tower just ruining the business for me and others around it. Why the city allowed tower to be there and why not to move to other location of the city property somewhere next to City Hall because the area is growing and the cell tower don’t let builders, residents and property owners to sell their properties effectively. Very concerning.

Subject: Cell tower near Ponce de Leon
Good morning Mr. Brovchenko,
The cell tower you are referring to is probably the one at 7066 Debrita Rd. It is owned by the North Port Fire Rescue District and is part of the emergency communication system. The location of cell towers is driven by the need to distribute them sufficiently to provide full coverage, which is why they sometimes end up in residential neighborhoods.
If you have any further questions about that cell tower, the Fire Rescue District may be able to answer them. I cc’d Chief Titus and Division Chief of Administration Amy Turner on this email response.
Respectfully,
Heather A. Hansen, CFM
