I have to agree. I have considered picking up the empty lots at 49th St snd 94th ave myself. Its so embarrassing. Both sides of the street are so filled with trash...and gosh knows what. I decided i would still be willing to clean it up but the city would have to pay for my personal protective equipment and a dumpster. Some body owns that and should be responsible to keep it respectable. Just like every personal property owner is.
Infact if we knew the actual addresses on the lots we could look up the owner.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the city for working on our gutters. I had gone down town PP and talked with the planning person and showed him pictures of our gutters and how runoff is failing to make it to the sewers and our streets and yards become saturated during the rainy season.
At the time they were fixing the sidewalks down 94th ave with those yellow ramps.
Im sure it was already in the planning to fix this but it made me feel heard. Thank you!

a full month later and no response -- that's exactly why we all have to rat on each other in this City - because nobody is really in charge any more, apparently.
