Description
The residents near Eagle Avenue and Grand St are in dire need of a 4 way stop sign.
Turning onto Grand St from Eagle Avenue has become a death trap. There are dozens of accidents at that intersection each year.
Drivers speed down that stretch of Grand St from Buena Vista to Clement to quickly get across the island, and commercial vehicles, fire department trucks, and ambulances park along there making it impossible to see speeding vehicles until the last moment. It has become a deathly game of Frogger.
Even as they turn from Buena Vista or Clement on that short stretch of Grand St, they accelerate to dangers speeds and suddenly appear after you've started to turn threatening to strike you.
We need a 4 way stop sign at Eagle Avenue and Grand Street because there's no reason to drive so fast on such a short stretch of road where they need to start decelerating already and it has got to stop before there's another injury.
I even have witnessed drivers going so fast on Grand St that they miss the turn onto Clement and do a donut on Grand to get back.

The whole situation is compounded routing the traffic around the Penzoil plant and the lack of a stop sign at Hibbard and Eagle.
